Coaching with Amanda

Do you feel like you need more support with managing stress, setting goals, or getting to know yourself better? Maybe you’ve been in therapy, or are currently in therapy, but want a separate space to work out some more practical life challenges. Coaching may be the perfect option for you!

Coaching allows me to use my therapeutic skills without needing to focus on specific mental health symptoms to guide me. We can focus our energy on improving your quality of life. Some coaching clients come in with a very clear purpose for our work together, while others need help fleshing that out, or just want to focus on personal growth without trying to cross any finish lines.

For coaching, I utilize Parts Work (IFS), Enneagram Coaching, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and other tools that I have gained along my journey of coaching and working as a therapist*. Our sessions are largely dependent on your goals for our work together, and what tools resonate most with your system.

*I do not use EMDR in my coaching practice - EMDR is specifically used to treat trauma and requires the use of my clinical license to use in client settings. If you would like a referral to an EMDR therapist in your area, please don’t hesitate to reach out, or visit EMDRIA.org.
